Sad

I got an email this morning from my MIL. Some of you may have heard me talk about hubby's aunt who taught me to read patterns and is directly responsible for my love of crochet. Well this morning I learned that she lost one of her sons to cancer. I never met this son, but I am extremely sad for Auntie. She lost another family member not terribly long ago, so this just seems so unfair. She's one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. I really wish I could give her a hug right now....

  • I'd actually thought about it not 2 seconds after I posted. I'm going to write MIL and ask what Auntie's favorite colors are. I'll use part of my trip money to get yarn, something really soft, and make her a 'ghan.
